One of the facets of the We Honor Veterans program is the vet-to-vet volunteers. Through this program, veterans help other veterans by providing support and listening.

The VA works closely with local hospice agencies to provide care in the home whenever this is possible.

The VA offers specific hospice benefits for qualified veterans. This is for those who typically have six months or less to live. The VA works closely with local hospice agencies to provide care in the home whenever this is possible.

Certain hospices have a contract with the VA.

Perhaps most important, there are no copays for hospice care, regardless of whether it is provided by the VA or a hospice organization that is a part of a VA contract.
